Matthew Schlanger
President
Matthew Schlanger is the president of Matthew P. Schlanger, CPA.
Matthew has worked in the accounting industry for 10 years and earned his Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Wyoming. He has worked in public accounting and several industries gaining experience before deciding to open his own firm. Matthew is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado.
Matthew is a Colorado native and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Matthew married his wife in 2020 and they have two beautiful children. Matthew and his family are parishioners at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch, CO.
Kayzanne Yarbro
Director of Tax Services
A native to Wyoming, Kayzanne graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wyoming in 2017. Kayzanne has spent her professional career in public and private accounting and has a varied tax preparation background. She lives with her husband, Rob in Laramie, WY where they enjoy attending UW football and basketball games. Kayzanne is a member of a local ladies’ golf club, and in addition to golfing, she loves cooking, spending time with her golden retriever, and many outdoor activities.
Katie Matson
Firm Administator
Katie Matson is the Firm Administrator for Matthew P. Schlanger, CPA.
Previously, Katie worked for a children’s hospital that served a seven-state region. Her background in a fast-paced healthcare environment has uniquely prepared her for the demands of working with a rapidly growing CPA firm. Her attention to detail and willingness to assume responsibility for critical functions while adhering to privacy regulations have been instrumental in her success at Matthew P. Schlanger, CPA.
Katie has lived in Colorado for 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and being outdoors with her husband, daughter, and German Shepherd, Murphy.
Patrick Nagurny
Accountant
Patrick has a background as a software engineer in the tech industry and recently completed an MBA and Master of Accountancy at the University of Denver. He was a General Partner at Pioneer Venture Group, where he evaluated and recommended investments in various Rocky Mountain startups.
Patrick and his wife moved from Virginia to Colorado in 2020 and love the mountains. They have four children and are parishioners at St. Mary Catholic Church in Littleton, CO.
